U.S. version with probably a flashing sidelight as opposed to a separate indicator and tail light.

(the U.S. style dual flashing/brake light is still not legal in the U.K. and U.S. cars imported to the U.K. must have them separated).

U.K. and Euro version.

Another licence plate that says exactly what it is.

High centre rear brake light.

Man these MGs were ahead of their time (Just Kidding, I know it’s a recently added feature).

She looks beautiful.

I believe this was the car for sale on Craigslist on February of 2014 for USD$20,000 (listing no longer viewable).

Though there does appear to be a few in the U.K. and Europe with only the single light set-up for some reason either this is how they intended to be and then separate light units became a requirement or some other reason.

You were allowed not to have proper indicators until the 1950s as I understand - the first Morris Minors didn’t have them.

There was a time when the use of semaphore indicators was a thing. My mother remembers being knocked off her bike when one extended unexpectedly as she was passing.

I’ve seen ‘trafficators’ on a few old cars and they look quite cool.

Now that I think about it I believe that the first Morris Minors had them.

Although I’ve seen them in pictures a few times I think the only time I saw them in person was on a Land Rover.

I’ve seen pictures of them on Morris Minors and just Googles some and though the pictures in the past had them on the B pillars (like pic A), I’ve never seen of heard of them mounted lower down (like pic B).

Also found an image of an MG Magnette with trafficators (which would go along way to explain the OPs pic and only having one tail light each side).

This car has trafficators. Which is really freaking cool.

Fancier cars had them too. Meet several million worth of 1949 Delahaye 175.
